Analyze two values using flexible percentage comparison methods. See increase, decrease, share, and absolute difference. Export clean results, charts, and tables for review later.
Choose a method, enter two values, and calculate the percentage relationship instantly. Results appear above this form after submission.
Modes included: A as % of B, % change, % difference.
These sample values show how each calculation mode behaves with different number pairs.
| Example | Number A | Number B | Mode | Result | Meaning |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 45 | 60 | What percentage is A of B? | 75.00% | 45 is 75% of 60. |
| 2 | 120 | 150 | Percentage change from A to B | 25.00% | The value increased by 25%. |
| 3 | 150 | 120 | Percentage change from A to B | -20.00% | The value decreased by 20%. |
| 4 | 80 | 100 | Percentage difference using the average method | 22.22% | The numbers differ by 22.22%. |
Formula: Percentage = (A ÷ B) × 100
Formula: Percentage Change = ((B - A) ÷ A) × 100
Formula: Percentage Difference = |A - B| ÷ ((|A| + |B|) ÷ 2) × 100
The absolute values option converts both inputs to positive values before calculation. It is useful when you want to compare size only and ignore direction.
It tells you how large the first number is compared with the second number. The formula divides A by B and then multiplies by 100.
Use percentage change when you want to measure increase or decrease from a starting value to a new value. It keeps the direction, so drops appear as negative results.
Percentage difference compares two numbers without treating one as the fixed starting point. It uses the average of both values as the reference base.
Some formulas divide by Number A or Number B. If that base is zero, the expression becomes undefined, so the calculator stops the calculation and shows an error.
It changes negative inputs to positive ones before calculation. This helps when you only care about size and not sign or direction.
Yes. The form accepts decimal and negative values. Just choose the proper mode and decide whether signs should remain active or be converted with absolute values.
The ratio line shows the decimal relationship of A to B in a compact form. It gives another quick way to understand scale between the two numbers.
They export the current result summary, including the mode, numbers, percentage result, formula, and key metrics. Recalculate first if you want a fresh report.
